This is particularly useful if you’re dealing with mega web pages or long Excel spreadsheets or if you’ve got a massive Spotify playlist and you want that one song – we’ve all been there. Push the button down and it disables, giving you the freedom to scroll further and faster, a feature dubbed as ‘Hyperscroll’. One noteworthy talking point is that one of the buttons on the G502 allows you to change the scrolling setting – the default involves a typical ratchet-driven scroll, giving you the normal scroll action, but there’s another setting available. What’s more, with the little on and off switch on the bottom, there’s no delay between using it and not. Its battery life is highly commendable, offering a stellar 60 hours without any lighting, or 48 hours with it on full blast. It’s also plug-and-play, meaning it’s merely a case of plugging in the receiver and away you go. Present in the box are a few nifty weights that allow you to give the mouse a little bit of extra weight if that’s what you’re into. As well as the typical left and right mouse buttons and scroll wheel, there’s a variety of other functions that the G502 can do right out of the box. There’s a whole host of programmable buttons, eleven to be exact, that already come with preset functions. To be honest, that’s expected at the £130 price point. By way of design, it’s a sleek looking mouse, with the matte black being offset by the patterned the grips that also feel really rather comfortable in-hand, giving the G502 a definite premium feel. The final line "puts the glory out to hide, hide" could be interpreted in many ways - perhaps it speaks to the challenges and struggles that come with new life, or the idea that even in the midst of joy, there is always some pain or sorrow. The pale blue colored iris mentioned in the lyrics may symbolize the fragility and preciousness of new life. The repeating "oh, I" lines suggest a personal connection or intense emotion that the singer is experiencing. In the final verse, the focus returns to the new mother giving birth. The addition of the line "like a rolling thunder chasing the wind" adds a sense of urgency and mystery to this idea. The forces pulling from the center of the earth again suggest that these cycles are part of a larger, natural order. To help your computer run as cool and efficiently as possible, do one or more of the following corrective actions. However, you generally cannot do this easily on small wall chargers of the sort you mentioned without risking damage to the charger or exposure to potentially dangerous voltages. While the sound of the fan running all the time can be annoying, it may be the first clue that your computer is running as efficiently as possible. Of course, this means that a user can apply glue onto coils using a glue gun to suppress coil whine-and yes, people have done this successfully with PC motherboards, graphics cards, and power supplies. The glue helps reduce the vibration and noise the coils generate during normal operation. ![]() This is why you sometimes see a "glue" of sorts on coils inside electronic devices. However, the same noise can occur under a load with a poorly designed or defective power supply as the coils may vibrate under electrical stress at a sub-harmonic frequency. Under a load, a properly functioning SMPS should operate at a frequency well above the human hearing range, typically 50 KHz or higher (although some older designs operate at 33 kHz). Together, these can lead to audible noise especially in cheaper units which fail to suppress this noise. In addition, in low or no-load situations the PWM (Pulse Width Modulation) used to regulate voltage at the inverter stage will be at a low duty cycle and create a "spikey" output profile which is more prone to causing vibration in coils, and the transformer itself will tend to vibrate as well. The no-load frequency is often low enough to be within the human hearing range. The internal switching frequency of an SMPS is typically low when unloaded and increases with a load (up to a certain point depending on the design).
